WorkSafe's purpose is to reduce workplace harm and improve outcomes for injured workers. This is our promise to the Victorian community. While preventing injuries is always our priority, when a workplace injury occurs we focus on improving outcomes and helping to deliver the best possible recovery and safe return to work. We know the best outcomes are achieved when injured workers, their families, employers and treating health professionals work together. Our role is to facilitate this, providing targeted intervention and tailored support to workers during their recovery journey.
