ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
Since 1990, the Weed Society Queensland (WSQ), now known as Invasive Species Queensland (ISQ), successfully hosted standalone weed and pest animal symposia. In 2019, WSQ combined these two successful events, for the inaugural Pest Animal and Weed Symposium (PAWS) 2019, held at the Gold Coast. PAWS 2023 was held in Dalby, with both events a huge success. The 3rd PAWS will be held in Gladstone on 19-22 May 2025. PAWS 2025 will provide sponsors and exhibitors with a unique opportunity to network and promote their businesses and brands to new and veteran pest plant and animal researchers, practitioners and managers.PAWS 2025 will feature a range of presentations with a strong focus on implementation of the latest research and technology, plus examples and demonstrations of successful practical solutions. Field trips will provide delegates and sponsors with the opportunity to observe a variety of solutions to pest animal and weed issues impacting the environment, economy, community and lifestyle of Gladstone and its coastal surrounds.
We are excited to offer a variety of opportunities for your organisation to be involved in PAWS 2025. To maximise exposure, trade displays will be located in an area designated for lunches, and morning and afternoon teas. The PAWS 2025 Welcome Function will be held in the trade area, providing even more exposure for our supporters and their brands. Ample time will be allowed for networking and discussions during breaks in the program and through a social program incorporating a new welcome reception/trade night, the Symposium Dinner and field trips.

PAWS 2019 attracted 217 registered attendees from across 65 organisations and entities.
PAWS 2023 attracted 206 registered attendees from across 83 organisations and entities.

SPONSORSHIP CONDITIONS
Acceptance of sponsorship by completion of online Sponsor Agreement Form.
- Payment of sponsorship monies is required within 7 business days of receiving your tax invoice from Iceberg Events.
- Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing prior to 29 March 2025 (50% cancellation fee will apply).
- Cancellations received after 29 March 2025 will not be refunded.
