Gladstone Regional Council is a local government authority serving Gladstone, Boyne Island/Tannum Sands, Calliope, Miriam Vale, Agnes Water/Seventeen Seventy and many smaller townships, and is the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
Council has nine elected members and is led by Gladstone Region Mayor, Matt Burnett.
Council offers 48 core services with a total of 795 employees, including 32 apprentices and trainees.
Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land, the Bailai, the Gurang, the Gooreng Gooreng and the Taribelang Bunda people.
