The peak temperature of the month can reach a pleasant 20°C. Although a bit cooler than other points of the year, Sydney in May is generally sunny and perfect for hitting the beach.

Australian electricity supply is 240V, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug.

Visas

All attendees are responsible for arranging their own visa's to attend the conference where required.

Entering Through Customs

Delegates carrying commercial goods or samples may need permits to clear goods through Australian customs. All travellers must declare amounts of $10 000 or more in foreign or Australian currency taken into or out of Australia.
