**Non-payment does not constitute cancellation**

Registration: Registration fees for SFT-26 are being charged in Australian Dollars and includes all taxes. By completing your registration you have confirmed your attendance at the conference and acknowledgement of the below terms and conditions.

Registration Cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events. Cancellations received prior to Friday 2 October 2026 will be refunded less a $99 administration fee. Cancellations received on or after 2 October will not be refunded, although substitute delegates are welcome.

The SFT-26 Conference Organising Team is not liable for any travel and/or accommodation costs associated with cancellation of the conference or inability to attend due to government restrictions or illness. Personal or company insurance policies should be referred to in these circumstances.

Delegate conduct & safety: All delegates are expected to observe the following standards of behaviour throughout the Retreat. Breaches may result in removal from the Retreat without refund.

At all times during this Retreat you must:

• behave in a professional and respectful manner, avoiding any conduct, speech, or communication that could reasonably be considered offensive, disruptive, or inappropriate;
• if consuming alcohol, do so responsibly and in a manner that does not impair your behaviour or the experience of others;
• not place the health, safety, or wellbeing of any person at risk, or cause personal injury or damage to property;
• show respect to speakers, fellow delegates, and staff, and refrain from interrupting or disrupting the program or other Event activities;
• comply promptly with all reasonable and lawful directions issued by the Organisers, authorised staff, contractors, or venue personnel;
• ensure that any individuals accompanying you comply with the same standards of conduct.

Emergency Contact Information: All delegates are required to provide emergency contact details as part of their registration. By submitting this information, delegates confirm they have obtained the consent of the nominated person to share their details. This information will be used solely for managing health and safety matters during the event and will be kept confidential.  

Insurance: insurance, including medical cover and travel insurance, is the responsibility of the delegate. The Organising Committee and Conference Organisers will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

Disclaimer: the program is correct at the time of printing, but the Conference Organisers reserve the right to alter the program if and as is deemed necessary.

Liability: The Organising Committee and/or Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

Privacy: The University of Queensland's Centre for Online Health and/or the event organisers (Iceberg Events) will use the information you provide on the registration form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and information related to SFT-26. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance to these terms. We will treat your information with respect. 

COVID Safety: At SFT-26, we prioritise the health and safety of all attendees, and we recognise that individual responsibility plays a critical role in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses. We encourage all delegates to wear a mask, practise social distancing, be mindful of hand hygiene and not attend if you are sick.

If last minute COVID-19 restrictions impact your attendance, SFT-26 organisers will undertake to address credits, delegate substitution or refunds in a fair and equitable manner.
