SFT-26 SCHOLARSHIPS

The UQ-COH will be awarding up to five (5) scholarships to support the cost of a full registration at SFT-26 (approx. value $1000 per registration).  The scholarships will be awarded through a competitive process, and application details will be advertised via the SFT website. 

These scholarships have been made available thanks to generous funding provided by the former Australian Telehealth Society (ATHS).  

Scholarship conditions:

  • Up to five (5) scholarships will be offered for the SFT-26 conference.
  • The scholarship administration and review process will be managed by the UQ-COH.
  • The scholarships will be awarded to individuals who demonstrate a genuine need for scholarship support to attend the SFT conference. 
  • The scholarships are broadly open to clinicians, researchers, students, and consumers.
  • Preference is given to applicants who have not previously received a scholarship.
  • Candidates need to demonstrate commitment to attend the conference if they are awarded a scholarship.
  • The scholarships are not transferable to a third party or redeemable for cash. 

Applicants will be required to complete an online application form.  

Selection Criteria:

Applicant demographics [Name, Gender, Address, Phone, Email, Student status – FT, PT (if applicable), Indigenous status]

 Have you been awarded a scholarship before? YES/NO

If you are awarded a scholarship, you agree to cover any other incidental costs associated with attendance at the SFT conference (such as transport and accommodation). YES/NO

Motivation to attend SFT: Applicants should explain the main reason for attending the SFT conference and expected benefit/s. (up to 100 words)

Financial need: consideration will be given to applicants with limited financial resources who require financial assistance to attend the conference. (up to 100 words)

Equity and diversity: The scholarship scheme may prioritise diversity and inclusion by considering factors such as ethnicity, gender, geographical location, socio-economic background, or disability status. (up to 100 words)

Service commitment: Preference may be given to applicants who have a track record of community service and/or volunteering. (up to 100 words)

Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-26) will be held from 5-6 November 2026 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
