Griffith Health is one of Australia’s largest and most diverse health faculties, committed to innovation and excellence in health education and research. We equip students for careers in Australia’s largest and fastest-growing industry and collaborate with the sector, government, non-profits and the community to optimise health locally and globally. Our work and partnerships are strategically aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal “to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing at all ages”.
SSI is a trusted, community-based not-for-profit that works for equality of life across Australia. For decades, we've helped people from all backgrounds settle, thrive and fully participate in Australian life. We deliver essential services to refugees, diaspora communities, people with disability, families, youth, children and more. While our roots are in multicultural communities, our doors are open to anyone who needs us. Equality is a human right, and we challenge unfair systems and injustice to achieve it—but not alone. We bring together community voices with government, business and industry partners to tackle barriers and develop solutions that create lasting change, nationally and internationally.
UnitingCare's Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS) in Logan provides intensive, targeted interventions for vulnerable families at risk of child protection intervention. The program equips families with practical parenting skills, safety planning, and nurturing strategies to protect children and preserve family unity. Through holistic case management, IFS workers address housing, financial stress, and complex needs while fostering cultural connections for First Nations and Multicultural families. The Logan team collaborates with local agencies like neighbourhood centres, hospitals, and Elders to strengthen community referral pathways and prevent out-of-home care.
Founded in 1995, QPASTT (Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma) is a specialist, not-for-profit organisation supporting people who have sought safety in Australia from persecution, torture and war-related trauma. We provide culturally responsive services that promote healing, wellbeing and belonging for individuals, families and communities across Queensland. With offices in Brisbane, Logan, Cairns, Townsville and Toowoomba, and outreach across the state, our work is grounded in inclusion, equity and respect for all cultures, identities and lived experiences. QPASTT is part of the national FASSTT network and the global IRCT movement supporting the rehabilitation of torture survivors.
