Event Dates

Monday 16 March - Tuesday 17 March 2026

Program and Presentation Time

Please click on the button below to view the symposium program and your presentation time.

It is important that you do not go over your allocated presentation time.

Presentation

All presentations must be created using Microsoft PowerPoint. Videos are to be embedded in your slide rather than inputted as external links.

Note: PowerPoint presentations are required in 16:9 format.

We request that all presentations be emailed to mika@icebergevents.com.au by Wednesday 11 March. This will ensure that your presentation is pre-loaded onto the venue laptops prior to your presentation.

Otherwise, please bring your PPT (required in 16:9 format) on a USB to the registration desk before sessions begin in the morning.

Please note: The AV team will be unable to load presentations while sessions are in progress. To ensure a smooth experience, make sure your presentation is uploaded either in the morning or during a scheduled break before your session begins.

Accessibility and Presentation Guidelines

To help ensure the symposium is inclusive and accessible for all attendees, we ask presenters to follow the guidelines below.

Include key points on slides
Please ensure your presentation slides contain key points or summaries of the content you are discussing. Presentations should not rely on audio alone, as some attendees benefit from being able to read important information on screen.

Share presentation notes in advance
If possible, please send any learning materials, topic outlines, or presentation notes a few days prior to the symposium. This allows attendees additional time to familiarise themselves with the material and support their learning experience.

Provide content warnings for sensory-intensive media
If your presentation includes videos or media with sudden loud sounds, fast movement, flashing lights, or flickering content, please provide a brief warning before playing the media so attendees can prepare if needed.

Audio Visual

Basic audio visual will be provided as follows:

  • Stage with steps
  • Data projector and screen (16:9 ratio)
  • Lectern and microphone
  • Handheld wireless microphone
  • Wireless clicker for advancing PowerPoint slides

There will also be an audio-visual technician in each room to assist with loading your presentation and any technical checks.

On Arrival

On arrival at the symposium, please proceed to the registration desk to collect your name badge and meet with the Conference Organisers (Iceberg Events).

All presenters are to see the AV Technical Director to provide their final presentation files. See the AV team at least 30 minutes before the first session of the day starts. The AV team is available from the time registration desk opens and during breaks.

Please arrive at the stage area 15 minutes before your presentation. You'll meet with the session's chairperson to discuss introductions and equipment use. As a speaker, it's your responsibility to be in the session room on time.

Location

The symposium will be held at the Brisbane Technology Park (BTP) Conference & Exhibition Centre.

Sessions will take place in the Auditorium.
