The Australian currency is $AUD. All prices on this website are quoted in AUD and include GST. 

Please note tipping is not necessary in Australia. 

Major credit cards such as VISA and Mastercards are widely accepted. Please note some vendors bill a small surcharge on credit card purchases. 

Banks in Australia are generally open from Monday to Friday from 9.30am - 4.00pm, Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are widely available.

The main language in Australia is English. The conference will be held in English. 

Electricity

Australian electricity supply is 240V, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug.  

Visas

All attendees are responsible for arranging their own visa's to attend the conference where required.   

Entering Through Customs

Delegates carrying commercial goods or samples may need permits to clear goods through Australian customs. All travellers must declare amounts of $10 000 or more in foreign or Australian currency taken into or out of Australia.
