Sam is a proud Wiradjuri and Pacific Island woman who began her journey in working with families, men & young people over 10 years ago.  In this time she has held both practitioner and leadership roles managing complex service delivery teams across QLD, including regional and remote areas of Far North Queensland as well as metropolitan Brisbane.  Sam has a passion for empowering people and working to help them reflect on the ways their actions could impact others.  This is particularly evident in her subject of expertise, Men’s Behavioural Change.  Sam is an experienced facilitator of group programs for men who use violence, meeting registration requirements of a senior facilitator in QLD.  Sam has worked in and managed intervention programs in varied environments including First Nations men, CALD men, men in rural environments and court mandated men.  She has provided individual and group programs both in-person and virtually.  Sam has provided crisis intervention and on-going individual counselling to perpetrators and victim/survivors of domestic and family violence and continues to work toward a world where women and children feel safe, valued and loved.
