Melbourne Museum

Head down to Carlton Gardens to check out the Melbourne Museum and find the wonders held inside. Melbourne Museum is home to diverse galleries to peak everyone's interest. You will find the Forest Gallery, Science and Life Gallery, Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre,  Te Pasifika Gallery, Children's Gallery and Touring Hall.


Old Melbourne Gaol

Visit Old Melbourne Gaol, Melbourne’s oldest and most feared prison since 1845. Now operated by the National Trust discover where some of Australia’s most infamous characters, including bushranger Ned Kelly and gangster Squizzy Taylor, spent time behind bars.


Scienceworks

Scienceworks is bursting with things to challenge curious minds of all ages. In just one visit, you can stroll among the gigantic machines that kept the city running, enjoy electrifying theatre in the Lightning Room, let your little ones roam safely in enclosed spaces, wander through immersive exhibitions and drop into deep space in the Melbourne Planetarium.


Queen Victoria Market

Queen Victoria Market is an authentic, bustling, inner-city market that has been the heart and soul of Melbourne for 140 years. NGV International

NGV International houses a whole world of international art, displaying the National Gallery of Victoria's collections of European, Asian, Oceanic and American art. Since the National Gallery of Victoria opened in St Kilda Road in 1968, the total collection has doubled in size to more than 70,000 works of art. A truly iconic Melbourne building, the gallery has been totally redesigned to house one of the most impressive collections in the Southern Hemisphere.
