**Non-payment does not constitute cancellation**

Registration: Registration fees for the ASAM Conference 2023 are being charged in Australian dollars and include Australian GST. By completing your registration you have confirmed your attendance at the conference and acknowledgement of the below terms and conditions.

Privacy: ASAM and/or the Conference Organisers (Iceberg Events) will use the information you provide on the registration form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and information related to the ASAM 2023 annual conference. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with these terms. We will treat your information with respect. 

Registration cancellation: All cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events. Cancellations received prior to Monday 14 August 2023 will be refunded less a $99 administration fee. Cancellations received on or after 14 August 2023 will be dealt with in a fair and equitable manner.

Accommodation bookings: To take advantage of the discounted accommodation rates, bookings must be made via Iceberg Events. Any changes to your booking must be made via email to Iceberg Events: mika@icebergevents.com.au – not direct with the hotel. Any bookings outside of the conference dates (being in 14 September 2023, out 17 September 2023) will be subject to the hotels' availability and best available daily rate. If you would like to book a longer stay, please email the Iceberg Team.

Full payment for your entire stay must be received before accommodation will be confirmed. If payment for bookings has not been received 30 days out from the event, your accommodation booking will be released.

A block of accommodation is held for this event, at the prices advertised. Occasionally, the accommodation block shown will be exceeded by a rush of last minute bookings. Should this occur, every effort will be made to acquire more rooms at the rate advertised, at the same, or similar (nearby) venue. Should we be unable to acquire more rooms at a rate equal to or less than the advertised rate, your accommodation deposit will be refunded to you. We will communicate with you throughout this process.

Accommodation cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events prior to 13 August 2023. Refunds will not be made on cancellations after 13 August 2023 due to group booking policies. Substitutes are welcome. 

Insurance: Insurance, including medical cover and travel insurance, is the responsibility of the delegate. The Organising Committee and Conference Organisers will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

Disclaimer: The program is correct at the time of publishing, but the Conference Organisers reserve the right to change the topics and presenters if necessary. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated at www.asam2023.org.au.

Liability: The Organising Committee and/or Conference Organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or loss or damage to private property of registered delegates of the conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
