ABOUT THE EVENT
The Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine (ASAM) will host their 2023 Conference and Scientific Meeting at Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 September 2023.
We anticipate a minimum of 150 doctors from Australia and New Zealand will attend. ASAM conference delegates are medical practitioners with an interest in aviation and aerospace medicine, and aeromedical retrieval. Many are also pilots. ASAM has a strong representation of medical practitioners in the military.
The ASAM Conference and Scientific Meeting is the leading Australian annual professional development conference for health practitioners who practice in the field of aviation and aerospace medicine.
Australia has one of the safest and most active aviation communities, both commercial and private, in the world. It is no coincidence that Australia is also the home of one of the world's largest and most enduring aerospace medicine communities. Flying for many Australians is not just a joyful departure from their day-to-day terrestrial existence, it is also a livelihood, and a lifeline. Aviation medical examiners are fundamental to enabling Australians to fly, to enjoy their aviation pursuit, to have confidence that the women and men in the cockpit or the tower can be entrusted with the lives and safety of themselves and their families. At the heart of aviation medicine in Australia, standing behind every pilot, controller and passenger, is an aviation medical examiner who has helped them to get there, and to stay safe.
The 2023 Conference will have two and a half days of scientific sessions. The program will commence with the welcome reception on Thursday evening and conclude with a farewell lunch on Sunday afternoon.
The social events including the welcome reception and the conference dinner represent prime opportunities for you to promote your brand.
CONFERENCE VENUE
The 2023 Conference will be held at Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart. Trade displays will be held in the catering area. In addition to the trade display there will be ample opportunities for you to liaise with delegates at social functions and meal breaks.
SPONSORSHIP CONDITIONS
- Acceptance of sponsorship by completion of Sponsor Agreement Form.
- Payment of sponsorship monies required by 30 June 2023 (special arrangements can be made).
- Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing prior to 30 June 2023 (50% cancellation fee will apply).
- Cancellations received after 30 June 2023 will not be refunded.
