**Non-payment does not constitute cancellation**

Registration: 
Registration fees for the 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo are being charged in Australian Dollars. By completing your registration you have confirmed your attendance at the meeting and acknowledgement of the below terms and conditions.

Registration cancellation: 
All cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted. Cancellations made on or prior to Friday 29 March 2024 will be entitled to a full refund less a $99 administration fee. 

Refunds after Friday 29 March 2024 will not be entitled to a refund however, an alternative delegate name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly. 

The 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo Convenor and/or the Conference Organisers (Iceberg Events) are not liable for any travel and/or accommodation costs associated with cancellation of the conference or inability to attend due to government restrictions or border closures. Personal or company insurance policies should be referred to in these circumstances.

Accommodation bookings: 
To take advantage of the discounted accommodation rates, bookings must be made via Iceberg Events. 
Any changes to your booking must be made via email to Iceberg Events: cristina@icebergevents.com.au – not direct with the hotel. Any bookings outside of the conference dates will be subject to the hotels' availability and best available daily rate. If you would like to book a longer stay, please do so via the registration form and you will be contacted by Iceberg Events if there are any cost differences advised by the hotel. Please note cancelled bookings or failure to arrive at the hotel on the designated date of arrival (no-show) will incur penalties. 

Full payment for your entire stay must be received before accommodation will be confirmed. If payment for bookings has not been received within 7 days of booking, your accommodation booking will be released.

A block of accommodation is held for this event, at the prices advertised. Occasionally, the accommodation block shown will be exceeded by a rush of last minute bookings. Should this occur, every effort will be made to acquire more rooms at the rate advertised, at the same, or similar (nearby) venue. Should we be unable to acquire more rooms at a rate equal to or less than the advertised rate, your accommodation deposit will be refunded to you. We will communicate with you throughout this process.

Accommodation cancellation: 
Cancellations must be made in writing to Iceberg Events before Wednesday 1 May 2024. Refunds will not be made on cancellations on or after this date due to group booking policies. Substitutes are welcome. 

Insurance: 
Insurance, including medical cover and travel insurance, is the responsibility of the delegate. The 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo Convenor and Conference Organisers will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

Disclaimer: 
The program is correct at the time of printing, but the 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo Convenor and/or Organising Committee reserve the right to alter the program if deemed necessary.

Liability: 
The 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo Convenor and/or Conference Organisers (Iceberg Events) shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the conference. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

Privacy: 
The 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo Convenor and/or the Conference Organisers (Iceberg Events) will use the information you provide on the registration form to be in touch with you and to provide updates and information related to the 2024 Port Douglas Heart Meeting and Expo. By registering, you agree that we may process your information in accordance to these terms. We will treat your information with respect.
