Dr. Jamie Young, an academic clinician, serves as a pain specialist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. In this role, he holds the position of Clinical Head of Department, overseeing all aspects of pain management. Additionally, Dr. Young contributes his expertise as a Visiting Pain Specialist at St. Vincent’s Private Fitzroy. His commitment to education extends to his role as an Honorary Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Melbourne Critical Care Department, where he supervises both honours and postgraduate students. Furthermore, Dr. Young is a Faculty of Pain Examiner, and his ongoing research publications cover a wide spectrum of cancer pain, including acute, chronic, and end-of-life care.
