PROF. GREGORY MOORE

Associate Professor Gregory Moore MBBS (Hons) PhD FRACP

Gregory Moore is Head of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) at Monash Medical Centre and an Associate Professor in the Centre for Inflammatory Diseases, Department of Medicine, Monash University. Greg oversees a multi-disciplinary IBD clinic providing tertiary referral and paediatric transition services. He is the former Chair of the Australian IBD Association and GESA board member, and a Board member of Crohn’s and Colitis Australia since 2011, on the steering committee of the National IBD Quality of Care Program. Greg has been actively involved in over 50 multinational drug trials in IBD, and conducts investigator-initiated research in amnion stem cells in IBD, as well as human assessment of novel cytokines and the role of body composition in disease outcomes and pharmacotherapies.
