DR ANDREA WARWICK

Dr Andrea Warwick is a colorectal surgeon and a specialist in functional disorders. She completed her colorectal training in the UK and then undertook fellowships in renowned pelvic floor units in Geneva, Switzerland and in Aarhus, Denmark. She moved to Brisbane for a fellowship and couldn't leave!  

Andrea is a keen researcher and undertakes evidence-based care with a focus on outcomes. She has written numerous peer reviewed publications and is on the editorial advisory board for Colorectal Disease. She is currently undertaking research in to many colorectal and pelvic floor topics both independently and as part of international multicentre trials. She is co-chief investigator for the POLARiS trial comparing treatments for low anterior resection syndrome.
