The interim Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC) has been established by the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care to enhance the nation’s response to current and emerging health threats.
The National Occupational Respiratory Disease Registry is a key element in the CDCs response to occupational disease. The Registry will enable better data collection for occupational respiratory diseases and will support research to prevent adverse health outcomes, map the extent of occupational respiratory disease and identify exposure risks.
