The Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre (QCPRRC) works to improve the health of children with cerebral palsy, brain injuries, and similar conditions. We focus on research, innovation, and education to support these children and their families throughout their lives. Our research covers everything from basic science to practical treatments and community support, looking at causes, brain mechanisms, management, and outcomes. Founded in 2007, QCPRRC excels in research, turning discoveries into real-world treatments, and training future health professionals. Our success is thanks to our funders and strong connections with Queensland Children’s Hospital and The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Behavioural Sciences.
