Megan is a patient who continues to experience post-concussion symptoms after sustaining a mTBI in September 2020 during a soccer game. She received treatment through the Queensland Children’s Hospital complex concussion clinic until she completed high school last year. Megan was a member of the consumer advisory group for the Australian and New Zealand Clinical Practice Guidelines for mTBI and also participated in research using tDCS to improve attention. She is keen to share her experience of navigating high school, sport and socialising with an mTBI.
