Field Trips

If you are interested in attending one of the field trips on Wednesday please review the routes below. When completing your registration form please select the tour of your choice. The trips are limited in space and can only accommodate a number of people for each tour, we suggest getting in quick.

Note: Certain places on these routes are not open to the public and are not to be visited without proper approval, the committee has obtained approval from private landholders and industry representatives.

Bonye Dreaming Tour - FULL

Heading north east from Dalby through broadacre farming country, up through grazing country foothills to the beautiful Bonye Biar (the Bunya Mountains).  Returning to Dalby via the Bunya Highway.

  • Jindabyne Farm – Mother-of- Millions control by pasture burning and chemical mop up
  • Koehler Park – Madeira vine
  • Russel Park – remote feral pig trapping, mountain bike washdown, cultural burning practices with the Bunya Peoples' Aboriginal Rangers, and Welcome to Country at Bonye Bush University’s Learning Space.
