Speaker Guidelines
Many thanks for your participation in the International Life Course Conference 2025: A roadmap for the future. We are thrilled to have your knowledge and expertise showcased at the conference. Please see information below to assist in the planning for your presentation.
Event Dates
Thursday 24 July - Friday 25 July
Location
The conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Grey St entrance, South Brisbane QLD 4101.
The conference will be held on the Boulevard Level. Please enter the convention centre via the Grey Street entrance (located next to Olios Café) and take the lift to the Boulevard Level.
Plenary sessions will be held in the Boulevard Auditorium.
Parallel sessions will be held in rooms B1-3.
The conference dinner will be held on Thursday night in the Boulevard Room.

It is important that you do not go over your allocated presentation time. For any queries, please contact your session convenor or chair.
Presentation
All presentations must be created using Microsoft PowerPoint. Videos are to be embedded in your slide rather than inputted as external links.
Note: PowerPoint presentations are required in 16:9 format.
We request that all presentations be emailed to mika@icebergevents.com.au by Monday 21 July. This will ensure that your presentation is pre-loaded onto the venue laptops prior to your presentation.
Otherwise, please bring your PPT (required in 16:9 format) on a USB to the registration desk before sessions begin in the morning.
Please note: The AV team will be unable to load presentations while sessions are in progress. To ensure a smooth experience, make sure your presentation is uploaded either in the morning or during a scheduled break before your session begins.

There will also be an audio-visual technician in each room to assist with loading your presentation and any technical checks.
On Arrival
On arrival at the conference, please proceed to the registration desk to collect your name badge and meet with the Conference Organisers (Iceberg Events).
All presenters are to see the AV Technical Director to provide their final presentation files. See the AV team at least 30 minutes before the first session of the day starts. The AV team is available from the time registration desk opens and during breaks.
Please arrive at the stage area 15 minutes before your presentation. You'll meet with the session's chairperson to discuss introductions and equipment use. As a speaker, it's your responsibility to be in the session room on time.
