Kirstine Hand

Kirstine Hand (PhD) is the convenor of the management committee for Diverse Voices, a Queensland non-profit organisation that provides peer support to the LGBTIQ+ community. Kirstine's background as an educator/researcher includes working in school, university and non-government organisation settings, with a strong interest in work focused on improving outcomes for disadvantaged or marginalised children and young people. In addition to volunteering at Diverse Voices, Kirstine currently works to increase awareness in educational settings on how to support LGBTIQ+ young people's wellbeing through inclusive practices that are respectful of diversity.
