Kirsten Majidi

Kirsten’s passion for social justice came early in her career working in the Marketing department at The Body Shop where she was involved in campaigns for reconciliation, body image and self-esteem and community trade.  Following a successful career in Marketing, Kirsten transitioned into the not for profit sector and has been working in a variety of project management and training roles in the family violence sector from supporting women in recovery achieving financial independence through employment, to project and training roles in specialist family violence services.  Kirsten has consulted on projects with Victoria Police and Family Safety Victoria to build workforce capacity when working with migrant, refugee and asylum seeker communities and is now acting in the position of Principal Strategic Advisor for the Southern Melbourne Family Violence Regional Integration Committee.
