professor julie hides

Professor Julie Hides is Professor in Physiotherapy at the School of Health Sciences and Social Work at Griffith University (Brisbane), and the Clinical Director of the Mater Health Services Back Research Clinic. She is a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. Her current research interests include exercise/ motor control training for low back pain, imaging (ultrasound imaging and MRI) and prediction/ prevention of sports injuries, including concussion. At an international level, Julie has been a collaborative scientist on several international multidisciplinary analogue, advisory groups (Topical Teams) and astronaut studies with the European Space Agency. Julie was also a member of the Space Medicine and Life Sciences Technical Advisory Group for the Australian Space Agency.
