The purpose of this important national event is to provide a formal professional development meeting incorporating opportunities for health practitioners to interact, share experiences, teach and learn. The 2023 conference theme is "Beyond Flight" and abstracts and case presentations encompassing the breadth of practice in our region are invited.
The organising committee invites all those interested in the field of aerospace medicine to submit an abstract for either a scientific presentation or poster presentation at the 2023 conference. We particularly encourage members to submit abstracts for clinically difficult or unusual cases which they have encountered in their practice.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Selected authors will be invited to present their papers in an appropriate session. It is anticipated that presentations will have a 20-minute time slot (15min presentation followed by 5min questions).
AWARDS FOR BEST PRESENTATION
*The ‘Eric Stephenson Award’ for best paper presented by an ASAM member will be awarded at the ASAM Annual Conference in 2023. All accepted presentations by members (with the exception of the John Lane Oration and Patterson Trust Lecture) will be considered for this award.
*The ‘Jeanette Linn Award’ for best first-time presentation by an ASAM member will be awarded at the ASAM Annual Conference in 2023.
