Leah Russo started as a Canegrowers Herbert River Director in May 2022, as the second woman in history to sit on the Herbert River board. Leah was a newcomer to the sugar industry, only purchasing a cane farm with her husband Santo in 2018. Becoming a director has been a great learning opportunity and she has enjoyed the role so far. Leah is also President of the Women in Sugar Herbert group.
