On behalf of the University of Queensland’s Centre for
Online Health (UQ-COH), I am very excited to announce plans for our next
Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT) Conference which will be held in
Brisbane, Australia in November 2026.
You are invited to be part of this special event as we
celebrate 25 years of SFT. The SFT theme
has stood the test of time, delivering a dynamic forum for delegates and
industry partners to share their experience and ideas related to the developing
field of telehealth and virtual care.
As our health system continues to evolve, it is vital to
maintain momentum in advancing virtual care, not only to improve access and
efficiency, but also to deepen our understanding of how innovative care models
impact patients, providers, and communities.
SFT-26 will be a showcase for innovation, collaboration, and
critical reflection, and we invite you to contribute your insights when
abstract submissions open later in 2025.
We welcome presentations from researchers, health
professionals, service providers, and government representatives. All aspects
of virtual care are encouraged, including clinical case studies, service
models, formal evaluations, implementation strategies, and activity reports.
Importantly, we value lessons learned from both successes and failures. Each story helps shape the future of virtual
care.
Also, look out for new opportunities to join our SFT
organising committees, become a sponsor, and apply for scholarships.
We look forward to seeing you in Brisbane in November 2026.
