Madeline Jankowski, BS, RDCS, ACS, FASE (she/her/hers) is a cardiac sonographer and research associate at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, USA. In her clinical practice, she specializes in valvular heart disease, stress echo, and advanced technology, such as 3D and strain imaging. Her research interests include analyzing advanced imaging techniques, artificial intelligence, lung ultrasound and echo quality improvement.

Madeline is a very active volunteer for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medial Sonography (ARDMS) and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). She currently is the Chair of the Adult Echo boards exam committee through ARDMS and has been involved with exam development since 2016. This past summer, Madeline was the ASE Scientific Sessions Sonographer Chair for the 2023 ASE Scientific Sessions in National Harbor, DC, USA. She is also a graduate of the ASE Leadership Academy and has been an active lecturer for many ASE conferences, including Echo Florida, Echo Hawaii, and the ASE Scientific Sessions.

Madeline is a daughter, sister, granddaughter, and most importantly, an aunty to 2 beautiful nieces. When she’s not doing echo, she enjoys traveling, rock climbing, and enjoying a good book and a cup of coffee.
