Nick is currently a senior forensic officer and reporting officer within the Clandestine Laboratories Unit (CLU), part of the Victoria Police Forensic Services Department. Nick completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Melbourne in 1994. He has since worked in analytical laboratories at the Olympic Dam minesite in South Australia, the University of Queensland, and a commercial laboratory in Melbourne (Intertek Probe). He also had three stints working as a chemist and Laboratory Manager for the Australian Antarctic Division, based at Casey station. Nick has over 15 years’ experience in drug analysis at the VPFSC, which has been primarily focussed on the scene attendance, processing, analysis and reporting of clandestine laboratories.
