I graduated from the NSW Police College in December 2001 and performed various duties and in September 2005 I transferred to The Special Crime Unit (SCU) which was a Joint Task Force between NSW Police and the NSW Crime Commission. SCU primarily investigated the large-scale drug importation and distribution of organised crime syndicates throughout NSW and Australia. In June 2009 I transferred the State Surveillance Branch.

In December 2012, I transferred to the State Crime Command Drug & Firearms Squad, Chemical Operations Unit.  Since this time, I have completed a number of courses relating to Clandestine Laboratory Investigations and Home-made Explosives. I am a facilitator on the NSWPF Clandestine Laboratory Investigation & Safety Course and the Regional Clandestine Laboratory (First Responders).
