Description: Join thought leaders, practitioners, and community advocates for a full-day forum dedicated to strengthening Compassionate Communities across Australia. Through storytelling, presentations, and collaborative workshops, participants will explore how systems can better support community-led approaches to caring, dying, and grieving.
Key speakers include Prof Samar Aoun AM, Prof Allan Kellehear OBE, Prof Luc Deliens, Dr Julieanne Hilbers, and Prof Ben White, alongside other changemakers from aged care, hospices, health services, local government, and Compassionate Communities Australia. The day will be focused on the development of a national advocacy statement to guide future action.
